Passenger use does not require a permanent profile, email address or mandatory telephone number. During a ride, the service may process a guest/session token, pickup and destination, live location needed for the ride, ride status, direct messages, favourite/block preferences, and an optional telephone number if the passenger chooses to provide one. Driver use requires a server-issued driver account and may process driver identity/profile data, vehicle data, live location while WORKING, ride status and messages.
Data is used only to provide ride coordination, live approach/ETA, safety, direct communication, fraud/abuse prevention, support and legal compliance. Depending on the processing, the legal basis may be performance of the requested service, legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention, consent where required, or compliance with law. No data is sold to advertisers.
Driver precise location is processed only while the driver deliberately selects WORKING and the visible Android foreground-service notification is active. Passenger location is requested only when needed for pickup/map functionality. The taxi module does not use location for advertising.
An optional passenger telephone number is automatically cleared after approximately one hour in the current pilot flow. Live position is used for current ride coordination. Operational ride, safety, moderation and messaging records are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for service, security, dispute handling and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised according to the production retention schedule. Favourite/block preferences remain until removed or a valid deletion request is fulfilled.
OK TAXI does not collect, settle or hold the taxi fare. Payment is made directly to the driver. Any displayed fare is an indicative estimate based on configured lawful reference tariffs and route/time information. The legally applicable fare and lawful taximeter, where required, prevail.
Where GDPR applies, users may have rights of information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to the privacy contact above. Rights may be limited where retention is required by law or necessary for legal claims.
Traffic is HTTPS-only. Credentials are not stored in plaintext where the server supports hashed credentials. Access is limited to what is needed for service operation. Any hosting, notification, mapping or infrastructure provider used in production must be listed in the final processor/subprocessor register before release.
The OK ITHAKI social platform uses an 18+ gate. The taxi pilot is not directed to children. Play Console target-audience declarations must match the released experience.
